Scrapbook Capital Cyber Crop

Well I finally got these photographed and put up, even if Lorrie postponed the due in date.

This challenge was to scrap a LO using a 5x7 photo and a Christmas song title. Having scraped a lot of Christmas photos for DT work I really wasn't in the mood for more, so I still scrapped a Christmas Song ( the song is from The Polar Express) and went through photos I already had printed out. I think I am beginning to scrap smaller photos, whereas not that long ago I only used large ones......

and for this LO we had to scrap photos from a previous Christmas, I used a lot of 2 Crafty chipboard on here and have close up photos of that to come on the 2 Crafty blog...

I also won 2 of the challenges at the Scrapbook Savvy Cyber Crop (YAY) and now have my eye on one of their kits being released on the 1st, cant wait!!

Savvy Cyber Crop

Well we are back from Mums and before I get caught up on things I thought I would quickly update on the last of my LOs from the Savvy Cyber Crop seeing as it was a few weeks ago now LOL

This challenge was to scrap your fave photo from the year, I couldn't pick any one fave, but this one stuck out at me, quite love it actually, it was from the Scraploot Retreat

and this one we had to scrap about a change from this year and base it on a sketch

Merry Christmas

With the boys away over the weekend Shane and I cleaned out their room and other parts of the house that and enjoying each others company, well it didn't leave much room for the net or scrapping. We actually realized it has been years since the 2 of us got takeaway and ate it hot, watched a movie all the way through, go to the beach for longer the 5 minutes, long enough for me to get badly burnt enough to make walking and sitting difficult! We also went out to dinner and saw a movie.

Anyway I just wanted to wish myblog readers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, i hope you all have a wonderful family filled and joyious day tomorrow and I will see you on the other side.

Some Sassafras for your day =)

I was catching up on my bloglines and came across the Sassafras post about projects using their line "Amplify" so I combined that with one of the Cyber Crop Challenges at Scrapbook Savvy and made this.


The challenge was to scrap a photo from each month of the year and add some journaling about it, mighty hard let me tell you cause some months we did nothing LOL.

Scrapbook Creations Issue #73

I was asked by Scrapbook Creations if I would like to do a Technique Focus using some brand new Kaiser, um..... well......... YEAH!!! =) I couldn't wait to get started and then have my very first article!!! here are the LOs I made

I was also subbed these cards and they are in there too =)

I think you can imagine I'm bouncing off the walls ATM =)

School Holidays have started now, we aren't even ready for Christmas, and I'm still trying to get my head around having 2 boys in school this time round when the holidays finish....

Well I must be off, kinda hoping to fit some scrapping in tonight now I don't have to be up for the school rush in the morning he he he

Update, Update, Update

I've been a busy girl and thought I would come in here and share what I have been up to

This layout is the sketch up on Scrapbook Savvy, I have just joined there and the girls are wonderful, I have actually crossed paths with a few of them in the past... =)

this is my take on the Scrapjack, I picked Fran Tynan to jack this month. I also got to play with some new October Afternoon and 2 Crafty =)

This was a just cause cause. I had a play date at Tammy's house yesterday and started it there, using 2 Crafty....

Quick Update

A while back Addicted to Craft asked if I would be a guest DT'er for their 12 weeks of Christmas Comp, um hello, FOR SURE, YEAH!!! =) so here is the LO I made. You can check out the challenge for the week over HERE

Also we have a tree in our yard and it has a nest and the nest now has babies!! they are tiny, I am thinking a Finch of some kind maybe? It just gives me a gooey feeling knowing they are there.

and that's about it, short and sweet today =)
